BIOGRAPHY

“Nature is not the subject of my work, but the source of it.“ *1

The repetitive use of nature's detritus brings me closer to understanding the world I share. Forms and structures within nature inform all man made architectures. The materials themselves are storehouses of knowledge and information. They act as 'keys', unlocking doors to memory, history and imagination.

“At moments of wonder it is easy to avoid small thinking, to entertain thoughts that span the universe, that capture the thunder and the tinkle, …the near and the far.“ *2
