Rod Milgate has had a long and rewarding career as a prominent Australian painter; he is also a highly regarded and published poet, writer and playwright. His style is reflective and philosophical, and his art often explores themes of spirituality. Rod has held more than 40 solo exhibitions not only in Australia but, in London, New York, Los Angeles and Kyoto. He has won many awards including the Blake Prize on three occasions. He is represented in most major public collections in Australia and international private collections.
